What is Larimer County Crime Stoppers?

Larimer Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime. Larimer Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards of up to $2,000 to anyone furnishing anonymous information that leads to the arrest of criminals, including those committing serious felony crimes, and fugitives. Information is received through anonymous Crime Stoppers tips that are received through a secure tips line or through a secure web connection manned by a professional program coordinator. Each caller is assigned a code number for the purpose of insuring anonymity.

Why Do We Need Larimer Crime Stoppers?

Larimer County Crime Stoppers is based on the principal that “Someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime” and was created to combat the three major problems faced by law enforcement in generating that information:

Reluctance to get INVOLVED

Larimer Crime Stoppers resolves these problems by:

Offering ANONYMITY to people who provide information about crimes.
Paying REWARDS when the information supplied leads to arrest.

The primary objective of Larimer County Crime Stoppers, the community, the media and law enforcement is;Working together to solve crimes. Crime Stoppers provides a means of communication for members of the public to anonymously provide law enforcement agencies with information on unsolved crimes or suspects.
