Fort Collins Police Investigate Armed Bank Robbery
On October 1, 2009 at 10:16 a.m., Fort Collins police responded to a bank robbery at Equitable Savings and Loan, located at 300 E. Horsetooth Road in Fort Collins.
Bank employees and witnesses told detectives that an unknown male walked into the bank, produced a handgun, and demanded money from a teller. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’8″ and 180 pounds. The male was wearing a long sleeved black shirt, blue jeans, a dark colored bandana on his head, and sunglasses.
No shots were fired, and no one was injured during the incident.
