On Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 3:42 p.m., Fort Collins Police were notified of an attempted child abduction at Glenmoor Drive and West Plum Street.

A 9-year-old female was walking home from Moore Elementary School located at 1905 Orchard Place. The driver of a black sports car pulled up next to her and told her to get in his car. As he was talking to her he brandished a knife from inside the car. She took off running for home and the car was last seen westbound on West Plum Street.

The suspect is described as an approximately 20-year-old white male. He has blonde hair, cut in a Mohawk style with shaved sides and bangs. He possibly has a mole on one cheek and a bruise on his chin. He has a tattoo on his left inner forearm of a skull and crossbones. He was wearing a dark tank top with some type of design on the front.

The suspect vehicle is a black sports car with a rear spoiler, silver spoke rims, tinted windows and a rear side light broken out. A partial California license plate is 57210.
