Loveland Police detectives are investigating a report of the following: On May 6, 2013 at approximately 3:30 p.m., a twelve-year-old girl was riding her bike home from Lucile Erwin Middle School. When she reached the area of 43rd Street and Georgetown Drive, she noticed a blue delivery-style van with a white top and some sort of yellow emblem/writing slowing beside her.

A man in the passenger seat of the van repeatedly asked her to get in. Frightened, she rode away from the van and then fell. A young man whom she described a white, in his mid-teens, and wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses came to aid her from her fall. He helped her up, checked her welfare, and then left. The girl said the van left the area when the teenager came to help her from her fall. She rode home and reported the incident to her father. The father called the police department to report the actions of the men in the van.

The two men in the van are described as:

· Driver: 30-40 year-old Hispanic male, with short black hair.

· Passenger: 30-40 year-old white male, with brown shaggy hair. He was wearing a white tank top and had a large tattoo on his right bicep and shoulder area.

This investigation is on-going. Detective Roberts would like to speak to the teenager who came to the girl’s aid to see if he can provide any additional details of the incident.
