Bank of the West Robbed

On Thursday, March 12, at approximately 11:55 a.m., Fort Collins police responded to the report of a bank robbery at the Bank of the West at 1075 W. Horsetooth Road.

The unknown white male entered the bank, approached a bank teller, and demanded money.  Although the suspect implied he had a gun, no weapon was shown and no one was injured.  The suspect exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen leaving the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, approximately 5’10” tall with a slender build and short black and gray hair.  He was wearing blue jeans, a purple colored hoodie sweatshirt, with a white and dark colored patterned hoodie underneath.

The case is currently under investigation.
