Fort Collins police are investigating the report of a burglary that occurred around 3 p.m. on March 14 at 719 Brookhaven Ct. The victim told police that unknown suspects broken into his home through a back window and stole multiple electronic items.
As part of the investigation, officers contacted surrounding residents seeking information. A neighbor reported seeing two young males that afternoon walking through the green belt throwing items into the adjacent creek. Thinking it odd, the neighbor took digital photographs of the men and later provided them to police when he learned of the burglary.
The men are described as being in their twenties, and one male was carrying a black backpack. A photograph of the suspects is attached.
