Western States Bank Robbed

On Tuesday, June 02, 2009 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Fort Collins Police responded to the report of a bank robbery at Western States Bank located at 1298 N. College Avenue in Fort Collins.  Police officers arrived on scene at the bank approximately two minutes later.

The suspect entered the bank, approached a bank teller, and demanded money.  No weapon was involved and no one was injured.  The suspect exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and is believed to have left the area in a newer model black Chevrolet Silverado full size pickup.  The pickup truck had a handicapped license plate of 174369, unknown state of issue.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9″ tall, medium build, in his 30’s or 40’s and was wearing a baseball cap, a tan long sleeve shirt and dark pants.
