Guaranty Bank and Trust Robbed

On Friday, February 20, 2009 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Fort Collins police responded to the report of a bank robbery at Guaranty Bank and Trust at 1550 E. Harmony Road.

The suspect entered the bank, approached a bank teller, and demanded money.  Although the suspect stated he had a gun, no weapon was shown and no one was injured.  The suspect exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen westbound on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” tall, with a medium build in his 20’s with a shaggy beard.  He was wearing a brown stocking cap, a blue hoodie and blue jeans.

The case is currently under investigation.
