On May 15, 2013 at approximately 8:26 a.m., the Loveland Emergency Communications Center received a call regarding a robbery that had just occurred at the Target Pharmacy located at 1725 Rocky Mountain Avenue.
When Loveland Police officers arrived, they learned that a lone man, described as a white male in his 30s and approximately 5’10” with a thin build, entered the store at 8:21 a.m. He was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and blue jeans with sunglasses and a ball cap (possibly an orange Broncos cap). The man went directly to the pharmacy.
He told the pharmacist that he had a gun. He took one of his hands out of his jeans’ pocket, kept it under his shirt and pointed what the pharmacist believed to be a gun toward her. He kept his hand under his shirt and never displayed the gun that he claimed to have. He demanded that the pharmacist give him pharmaceutical narcotics. The pharmacist gave the suspect the narcotics that he demanded. The type and amount of narcotics will not be released at this time.
The suspect left the store with the narcotics and without further incident at 8:24 a.m. He was last seen on foot eastbound from the store.
There are no reported injuries to anyone associated with this incident. Target staff is reviewing the video surveillance from the store and are working with our investigators. The only item that we currently have available for release is the still image that accompanied this release. Additional footage or stills that may aid the public in helping us identify the suspect will be released as soon as possible.
