Fort Collins police are investigating the report of a robbery that occurred Monday evening, April 11, at approximately 9:15 p.m. in front of 2561 S. Shields Street.
According to the 19 year-old victim who reported the incident to police Tuesday afternoon, an unknown man approached her in her car and demanded money. No weapon was seen or implied. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a “dark skinned, possibly Native American” man in his 40’s, approximately 5’6” tall with a medium build and four front teeth. He was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, a dark green coat and a black shirt. A composite drawing is attached.
