Vandalism to Cache La Poudre Schools

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On June 19, 2006 , Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of extensive vandalism at Cache La Poudre Junior High and Elementary Schools. Officials believe the damage occurred on Sunday, June, 18, 2006 , sometime after 9:00 P.M.

At the elementary school, the glass of the front doors had been broken as well as the west interior door. At the junior high, the irrigation control box on the west exterior wall had been opened. All of the electrical wires were ripped out and a circuit board had been damaged. A fire extinguisher had been discharged throughout the interior of two rooms.

Cache La Poudre schools and Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this crime. Informants will remain anonymous. Please call 221-6868 to report anything suspicious that may have been send in the area of 3511 W. CR 54 G in LaPorte on Sunday evening, June 18, 2006 .
