SOLVED:
Fort Collins police have filed an arrest warrant on 22-year-old Edward Jay Hicks (D.O.B. 12/6/87) of Holdrege, Nebraska for 1 count of aggravated robbery of a controlled substance for the February 16 robbery of the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 4502 S. College Avenue. On February 24, Fort Collins police received several citizen tips that led to the identity of Hicks as a suspect in the robbery. Hicks is currently being held in the Phelps County Nebraska Jail on unrelated charges and is awaiting extradition to Fort Collins on this warrant. See actual picture of suspect arrested!

On February 16, 2010 at approximately 11:30 p.m. Fort Collins Police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 4502 S. College Avenue. A pharmacist reported that a man approached the counter and robbed the pharmacy; taking undisclosed narcotics. No weapon was seen and no one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 25 years of age, approximately 5′ 6″, 140 pounds with dark eyes, short black hair and a mustache. He was wearing a multi-colored hat, black jacket with a hoodie, and black gloves. A surveillance photograph is attached.
