On August  3, 2016, at  approximately  8:00 pm, the  Larimer  County  Sheriff’s  Office  received reports  that a  robbery  had just  occurred in the  parking  lot  of  Choice  Organics  located at  813 Smithfield Drive  in  Fort Collins.   An employee  of  the  store  called 911and  reported that  one  adult  male  and  one  adult  female  were approached outside  the  business  by  two men.   One  suspect  indicated  to  the  victims  he was  armed  and  then took the  marijuana  they  had just  purchased.  The  two suspects  fled  eastbound  on foot  where  they  entered a vehicle and drove away.  Both victims are visiting Colorado from out of state and neither were injured.

Deputies  responded to the  area, but  could not  locate  the  suspects  or  their  vehicle.  The  suspects  are described  as  white  males  in  their  late  teens  or  early  20s, one  of  them  is  approximately  six  feet  tall  and the other  is  slightly  shorter.   The taller  male  was  wearing  dark  baggy  shorts, a  dark hooded sweatshirt,  and possibly had  facial  hair.   The  shorter  suspect  was  wearing  light  colored baggy  shorts, a  multicolored  short sleeve t-shirt, and a ball cap.  The suspect vehicle was described as a late model grey Dodge Charger.
