FCPS Seeks Information about Stabbing Suspect

Fort Collins Police are seeking information about a man accused of stabbing his former girlfriend.

On January 18, 2016 at approximately 8:23 a.m., a local hospital contacted police regarding a 43-year-old stabbing victim. The victim said she had been in her home when her former boyfriend, Charles Pierce (DOB 05/22/1973), stabbed her in the abdomen, causing serious injury. The victim, currently in recovery, is expected to survive.

Pierce fled the scene of the incident and is currently at large. He is 5’7 tall and 150 lbs with brown hair, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos on his body, including on his neck and face. Please see the attached photo. Pierce has been known to drive a purple Toyota Rav 4, license plate 585YLW.

While police do not believe he poses an active threat to the public, Piece has a history of violent behavior. Anyone who sees him should call 911. Do not attempt to approach or contact this suspect.
