Police Seek Information About Armed Robberies

Fort Collins Police are seeking information about two armed robberies that occurred in the early morning hours of April 7, 2016.

At approximately 1:16 a.m., Fort Collins 9-1-1 received a call regarding an armed robbery on the 1400 block of West Plum Street. The two male victims reported that they had been walking when a suspect approached them on foot, threatened them with a gun, and stole several of their personal items. The suspect then fled on foot. The victims were not injured.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned white male in his 20’s, approximately 5’7 tall, wearing a black hat, black top, and black pants.

At approximately 3:47 a.m., Fort Collins 9-1-1 received a call from the 7-11 on the 3000 block of West Prospect Road. A female employee reported that a male suspect pointed a gun at her and demanded money. After robbing the store, he fled on foot. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with curly black hair, acne on his face, approximately 5’5 tall, weighing 160-175 lbs. He was reported to be wearing a black beanie, black short sleeve shirt over a white long sleeve shirt, black gloves, and blue jeans.
