Fort Collins police on Friday continued to search for a man who brandished a handgun and demanded cash during an early morning heist at a 7-Eleven.

Officers were called at 2:31 a.m. Thursday to 7-Eleven, 970 W. Horsetooth Road, in Fort Collins on a report of a robbery in progress. An unknown suspect entered the convenience store, displayed a gun and demanded cash, police said Friday.

The man, captured on security footage, wore a black hoodie, had his face covered and was described as being 6-feet-1-inch tall. A photo released shows the suspect standing near the entrance, looking in the window with a gun at his side. Additional descriptions were not immediately available, though video surveillance is being processed.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Nobody was injured during the incident.
